Pumpkin Spice Latte -healthy&delicious autumn treat! 🍂🎃

unnamed-7Autumn always has its features: colder weather, if you live in that kind of climate, yellow leaves, if you have trees where you live, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte…always. Being not a fan of sweet drinks, I must admit – the image of pumpkin spice latte in autumn is very tempting. So why not?

Here is a simple and totally delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte for you to indulge yourself this autumn. Super-delicious, you can add as much of spices as you want, and it is healthy and guilt-free, so you can have it while working on your weight loss.

I personally also enjoy it as an evening drink, with no coffee part at all, and I can tell you, my dreams are sweetest after a cup of this.

(Serves 2)

3-4 tbsp pumpkin puree (DIY or buy canned puree)

2 cups of milk

1 small strong coffee (espresso)

1/3 tsp nutmeg , 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/3 ginger  (purely suggested amount, but do it to your taste)

1/2 tbsp honey if pumpkin puree is not sweet enough

  1. Prepare coffee and pour it into glasses you want to serve your latte in.
  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan (but do not boil, you want it ‘steam’), add pumpkin puree and honey if using. Stir for a minute.
  3. Add Spices and stir for another minute. Do not boil at any point, you want milk to absorb all the spices well. unnamed-4
  4. Pour pumpkin spiced milk to the coffee, sprinkle with some cinnamon or nutmeg and serve.

Take it with you for a walk.  Enjoy autumn.
