Healthy Banana Bread

Whether you aim to build muscles or all you want is some home baked comfort food – what you need is some good and delicious carbs. The first thing that always comes to my mind is bananas and oats and nuts. This recipe is an amazing combination or all three. Alternatively, you may skip the nuts, but adding a good handful or two of greek nuts is what makes this loaf truly special for me.


All you need is love and…

3 medium ripe bananas

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

2 large eggs

¼ cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/3 cup of chopped Greek nuts (not essential)


  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a blender, add nuts. Pour into silicone baking loaf pan and add slices or whole banana into the middle of the batter
  3. Bake for 30-40 min until cooked. You can try to check the inside of the loaf with the knife (cut it into the baking loaf and see if there are traces of batter left on it; i yes-bake longer)


This loaf is full of all healthy ingredients, good carbs that will give you energy, bananas are full of potassium and are great for weight loss and digestion. It can be eaten warm and cold, topped with honey, maple syrup or a cheeky slice of butter. Delicious breakfast that everyone will love. Enjoy!
