Light Pear and Yoghurt

This is an easy one, but that is why I love it. Something this simple can satisfy the craving for a dessert really well without adding any unwanted calories to your meal plan. Just try it!

3½ Pear

1 tbsp maple syrup or ½ tbsp. or honey

Honey for serving

5-10 shelled pistachios, perfectly salted – whole and crushed

  1. Slice a pear thinly.
  2. Add it to the bowl and ‘marinade’ it in Maple syrup or honey if you don’t have any.4
  3. Leave it in a fridge for at least 20 mins to chill and for the pear to absorb some extra sweetness. Or leave until needs to be served.
  4. Serve chilled, on Greek or any plain yoghurt (low-fat if dieting) adding some honey and pistachios around the plate.2
