This is an easy one, but that is why I love it. Something this simple can satisfy the craving for a dessert really well without adding any unwanted calories to your meal plan. Just try it!
1 tbsp maple syrup or ½ tbsp. or honey
Honey for serving
5-10 shelled pistachios, perfectly salted – whole and crushed
- Slice a pear thinly.
- Add it to the bowl and ‘marinade’ it in Maple syrup or honey if you don’t have any.
- Leave it in a fridge for at least 20 mins to chill and for the pear to absorb some extra sweetness. Or leave until needs to be served.
- Serve chilled, on Greek or any plain yoghurt (low-fat if dieting) adding some honey and pistachios around the plate.
